Beneficial pest-eating insects play a very valuable role in tour gardens. Every gardener can simply create a garden where a healthy natural population of good bugs is encouraged. Plant basil in between and around your pepper plants. Basil excretes volatile chemicals that mask those emitted by pepper plants making it difficult for pests to attack the pepper plants, and provides dense ground cover creating humidity which peppers prefer!
